Adrian Lombardi  Head Coach & Director of Tennis

I was introduced to tennis at the age of 8 and quickly fell in love with the game. Tennis became a big part of my life competing in the ATP satellite circuit, grade 1 and state grade pennant as an accomplished player. Following my playing days, and continuing my passion for the sport, I wanted to pass on my knowledge and love for tennis to others, so coaching was a natural progression. As an accredited coach, a Level 3 Tennis Australia High Performance coach and a Tennis Australia Talent Development coach, I have 30 years coaching experience. I have led numerous tennis clubs and coached at the National Tennis Centre as a WTA National Assistant coach. In 2013, I was recognized as one of the Top 3 Talent Development coaches in Australia at the John Newcombe Medal Awards. In 2022 & 2023, I was recognised as one of the top 3 Performance coaches in Victoria at the Tennis Victoria Coaches Awards.  Some of the greatest coaching highlights is being the coach Daniel Jovanovski for the past 10 years who became the 2022 Australian 14s Boys Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles Champion, 2023 Australian 16s Boys Singles Champion & achieving a Wild Card for his efforts to the 2024 Australian Open ITF Junior Grand Slam, Coach to Amy Stevens playing in the 2020 Australian open Juniors, 2023 Victorian Boys 15s Team Manager Winning the Australian Teams Championships, selected by Tennis Australia Performance Team for the 2023 European Coaches tour. Over the years, I have shared my love of tennis with thousands of players. I want to ensure players can get the best out of their game and seeing improvement in children and adults is immensely rewarding. Whether you are new to the sport, play for fun, or aspire to be an internationally ranked tennis player, you are guaranteed to improve your game when coached by myself or one of the Millennium Team Coaches . Combining both my passion and a deep understanding of the game, I encourage players to achieve their goals through technical progression, tactical know-how, physical improvement, and mental strength.
