The program will bring together the four key components of tournament tennis development with an emphasis on building each player physically – technically – tactically and competitively.

  • Australian Junior Ranking Tournaments (AJR)

  • Improve UTR

  • International Tennis Federation (ITF) Junior World Wide Tennis Events

  • USA College 

  • Men's & Women's Pro Circuit World Wide Events

  • ATP & WTA Tour Events

Adrian Lombardi  will specifically be your private & squad performance coach and mentor through your tennis journey.

PERFORMANCE PROGRAM DETAILS

The program is held at the Whites Lane Mulgrave Tennis Club on the clay court. 

The Millennium Tennis Performance Program will have four levels based on age – competency and ranking

Bronze Program (UTR 1-3) 

Silver Program (UTR 3-5)

Gold Program (UTR 6-8)

Platinum Program (UT9+) Specialised for ITFs & Pro Circuit Athletes (CALL FOR FURTHER INFORMATION)

The program runs for 36-40 weeks per year.  Each school term is usually 9/10 weeks.  During the school holiday athletes compete in tournaments.  Some athletes will play tournaments outside of the holiday period.  

 

Each term there is a specific weekly theme that athletes will focus on

So the term break down is as follows

Week 1 to 5 - Technical Block

Week 6 to 8 - Pre-Comp Block

Week 9 - Competition Week

School Holiday - Tournament Block

 

Technical Block: Athletes will develop technical skills that will enable them to apply in a tactical sense.  It will help develop and refine skills such as spins, depth, angles, change of pace, offensive & defensive skills, movement, contact moves, variety

 

Pre Comp Block: Athletes will develop skills that will enable them to create patterns of play, mindset, mental state, playing to the score and mental & emotional skill development.

 

Comp Week: Matches will be recorded and analysed in readiness for the tournament block.
